I own this shop and I have read some of these postings with interest. I re-do alignments on a weekly basis which have been performed at other shops and have not solved the problems the customer has complained of. Like Lasik or heart surgery, price is not the only consideration. The price of our alignments are higher than our competitors, but the price buys a consulting relationship, not simply a labor operation. With every alignment I provide consultation with each client about maintaining their alignment, tires and front and rear components. 1/2 of our business is commercial fleet, but I provide the same personal consultations to individuals that I do to fleet managers. Additionally, any one of my customers at any time can drive into my parking lot and I always break for a few minutes to address them directly and immediately about their concerns or questions--no appointmemt needed. |

purchased 4 tires online. Brought them to a local shop to install them. When I was asked, " Do you need an alignment?" I said "yes" thinking he meant the balancing tires which I usually get.
When I picked it up, the receipt said," Tire mount $60, balance $60, Wheel alignment $140. To make matter worse, on the way home, i hit the rear tire on the carb as I turn a corner. scratch on new tire and wheel. The alignment might be off now. |

I went in for a front wheel alignment but I was advised that it would be better to have all four wheels aligned. Which of course I did, but I called the service department at the dealership first. They quoted $89.95+tax. |

I had a wreck on the ice and hit a guardrail, messing up my alignment pretty bad. Allstate is only giving me $45 for an alignment. I think I'm getting ripped off! |

I took my car to dealership for oil change and I was told i needed to buy 4 tires but i found a better deal so didnt buy them there but they insisted I needed an alignment without replacing any tires. Now when I get the tires I will probably be charged again? |

Quoted me a price of $515.00 for an alignment & 1 tire. He said I needed some kind of wheel arm bar...but here's the kicker; I got an alignment for my truck less than 1 year ago at this same location its funny that I didn't need any of this stuff then. I think i'm being ripped off. |

I promised this and that but the corp. office never got back to me. I needed to replace the strut and one bolt, thanks to firestone in Bellevue WA. |

Purchased 4 new tires. Deal was "buy 3 get 1 for $1". An alignment was probably not a bad idea, but I feel the price was high. Labor rates are high, but not $129.00 an hour and this is not a 1 hour job. I feel it's just a way to jack up profits (& maybe pay for my $1 tire?) |

I was getting the 15,000 mile maintenance and was asked to do the alignment. Apparently, one of the wheels is slightly misaligned. I took it for safety reasons. The price was actually $99 but i had a 10% discount coupon. |

I have a 2001 Acura Integra GS-R and had a 4 wheel alignment at the dealer. I was told initially that it would cost $70. While the alignment was being done they said that to get in spec they would have to shift the subframe and it would cost an additional $60. Does that additional cost seem reasonable? |

My car would always pull to 1 side so they told me I needed an alignment and a rotation.. So I go the actual price was 69 but my inner tie-rods were messed up so I ended up paying more because I couldn't get the alignment unless the tie-rods were fixed |

I felt this was expensive, But i was already there for normal maintenance. I would probably look elsewhere if I had the opportunity. Savings don't justify going somewhere else due to time constraints. But if you have a lexus, shop around. I think the dealer brings this up as a way of adding to your spending while you are there. |

When I replaced 2 tires last September at Wheel Works, they said I needed a new alignment badly, and I was skeptical so I held off on it, but then I noticed my steering was crooked (is it possible they made it worse when replacing 2 tires?). After shopping around, everyone quoted me $85 for an alignment, so I went back to the Wheel Works and got the alignment. A month ago, one of my new tires went flat from a puncture. I put on my spare, and went back to the Wheel Works, half expecting them not to honor the warranty. But they fixed the puncture, and said the alignment needed adjusting again, but that it was covered under warranty, so I left the Wheel Works with a fixed tire and re-aligned tires without spending a dime! Sweet! |
