I have gone to these guys over 10 yrs, the main guy is one of the first tinters in fla. They are mobile and the film never goes bad. They know things like my computer needed covered during the process or water would ruin it. These guys know and lets face it, you get what you pay for. |

I used Orlando Window Tint Specialists in Casselberry for my window tinting. When I talked to them over the phone they said they had a couple of different films and the prices were all different. They suggested coming in to see all of the window films and choosing after learning more about them. I went with the best film they carry. The LLumar CTX window film. I chose this film because of the high heat rejection and lack of signal interference (i-phone, gps, epass etc.) It is a beautiful film and looks fabulous on my auto. keeping it legal with the 30% all the way around, classy and not too dark. Take your cars where ever you want - I know the prices range and the film qualities/installer experience/shop quality all are reflected in the prices. I will be a customer for life @ Orlando Window Tint Specialists because they took great care of me and my car 407-628-8468 |

I have been tinting windows for 5 years. Took me 6 mths to perfect the tinting, Do not buy the cheap stuff at Wally world. I use what the pro's use. But I'm a due it your self type of person. and I love saving money for other useful things like fishing and boating. I had my Camaro at 5% on side's, Back Glass was 1.5% front window was done @ 35%. i do it alone so it takes me approx 8 hours. I was recently pulled over, and was ticketed for to dark a tint. 150.00 ticket, so lets add this up?? 100.00 for tint 150.00 ticket 80.00 court cost. But Skin cancer runs in family, so ticket was dropped (I am allergic to UVB rays in my eyes.) So the officer was dumbfounded when the court cost was also dropped. I have sense painted my car yellow (was black) and my tint is now 20% side's, 5% back, 35% front. he will be harassing me if he pulled me over again, I want to be pulled over again, to show them Im a grown adult, and am a USA citizen and am In a free county.. RIGHT??? |

I took my car to these people to have my windows tinted and they did a horrible job. I have bubbles and chips all over the place. Not only did they do a terrible job but they over-charged me as well. If that's not bad enough, they had my car from 8am until about 4:30pm. If you live in Columbia, MO please do not take your car here. |

I had my old tint removed at $20 per window (5 windows) then installed 5% in the rear 3, and 20% in the front 2. I was told the large back window and two small windows would cost more. |

I have had so many problems with tint in the past. You see $99 tint specials all over the place here in FL, but they turn purple and bubble. The Tint Man tinted a car for me about 5 years ago at their store in Longwood and I never had a problem with it. This time they came out to me because I have a garage now. It looks just as good this time as last. It cost $20 more for them to come to you, but it's well worth it when you have 3 kids like I do. The phone # is 407-678-8468 |

This place did a great job with the tint. I had old tint on the back windows that was starting to peel and they didn't charge that much extra to take it off. Took them about four hours to finish.
I wanted it pretty dark and wasn't happy when it first came out, but two months later the tint seems to have darkened...maybe it just the tint they used. |

There are two types of tint cuts, computer controlled or by hand. Although both will yield similar results, a computer controlled cut of window film will result in a more professional job (if technician is skilled). I went to a local mom & pop shop and they did an excellent job, even placing a slightly darker tint on front windows for privacy (20% vs 35%). Make sure they give a lifetime warranty (to original purchaser) on film, most places will. Check over the work, especially around edges of windows, after the 3-day 'set' period. If any of the film did not stick, take it back and make them redo the window. They cannot just "glue" the lose part down, eventually it will bubble or peel/tear away. |

I paid a bit more than average for tinting my car windows, but I feel like I got a quality job...4 years so far and no bubbles, no color changes. The tint goes all the way to the edge of the windows, too -- no untinted zones when I roll down my windows.
I think a good way to find a reliable tint company is to call some car dealerships and ask which shop they take their cars to for tinting. |
