Got rid of Nitrogen and got regular air in the tires, Rotation and Balancing. All in 20 min. Got charged $25. I think it is reasonable.
On a side note, I think Nitrogen is not worth if there is no refill facility close to your house or office. Kwik Kar here in Dallas wants to charge $40 just to check the pressure and top off Nitrogen. Its better to be able to stop at a local gas station and do it yourself.

Car started at vibrating over 50 mph travelling 30 miles just after blizzard. I was thrilled to find that the tires just needed to be balanced. I got in and out in a hour and a half which included 2 test drives.

Had coupon for oil change and tire rotation for 19.99. I asked how much would it cost to balance the tires. He said $13.99. It wasn't until I had to pay the bill did I realize he meant $13.99 per tire. I think it was excessive, but had no choice...no pay, no car keys. After some shouting, I had to give in. Next time, everything in writing.

I went in for a $60 oil change...they told me I needed a tire rotation, too.

It took them 2 hours, so the charged me for two hours of labor.

I walked out $130 lighter.

WTF?

No charge for the balancing but I got a high mileage oil change with tire rotation ($42.56 net). I bought all my tires there and paid for lifetime rotation/balancing. I don't know if the lifetime program is worth it but it certainly feels good when you don't have to pay.
