Came in b/c of their $109 per brake axle SPECIAL. Told Acura needs ceramic brake pads and thus, cost more than $109.00. $109.00 is reasonable. |

In the front I replaced pads, rotors, and calipers. In the rear I replaced pads and rotors. Did it myself and saved hundreds. |

Car was shaky when braking. Turns out rotors were warped, and pads were down to 30%. |

I think I got ripped off. They charged $360 just for labor. Front pads and rotors replaced. Just rear rotors replaced. |

Thought this was a good price. The lowest I have ever paid for brakes and rotors. Usually paid over $400. |

$40.00 for pads, cleaned up the rotors. Found out the passenger side caliper was beat up and seized, replaced with new for $57.00 - $25.00 rebate for the old one. Only labour costs were my own time! |

I had a customer experience survey discount & a 50 dollar brake rebate to reduce the cost to what you see above. I don't feel comfortable changing something important like brakes myself.. So, this price isn't that bad to me. |

People at the shop were very nice and seemed honest. They took my husband back to see the front breaks and rotors. He agreed that they needed to be replaced badly. They gave us the quote price of 398 dollars. We told them that we would be unable to do it right now and would have to come back. The desk worker said he could print the estimate out for us and we could take it else where to see if we could get a better price. He then went to the back to let the mechanics know to put the car bacck together and the store manager asked us what we could do it for so we could get them done today. He wanted to put us back on the road safely, especially with our 4 month old daughter. We told him tye most we could do was 250 and he got it down to 251.98 out the door including parts, labor, and taxes. We are very pleased. |

You people that are paying more than 100.00 per axle for pads and rotors are getting ripped off! Get a new mechanic. |

As an ASE certified mechanic in brake systems and with an degree in automotive repair- STAY AWAY FROM LIFETIME WARRANTY BRAKE PADS. Think about it people, use some logic. When you are applying the brake pedal the caliper through hydrolic means pushes the pads against the rotor to cause friction which slows down the rotor- hence the tire- hence the car. Now, something has to give during this transaction, the friction causes wear. The problem with lifetime brakes is that they're made freaking insanely hard. Sure your brakes won't wear down, but your rotor will be eaten alive and it's going to wear at the same rate as your pads normally would. New rotors cost more in labor (and you will need new rotors- they'll be under the legal limit for resurfacing), and parts. In addition, you're going to have to replace rotors every time since your brakes will continue to eat them. In other words, stay away from lifetime brakes. |

I had front and back new ceramic brake pads, remanufactured rear brake calipers, new rear rotors and machined front rotors done for $1025.00. They bled the system and test drove the car. I believe they are fair and do excellent work. |

Service was absolutely fantastic. I couldn't of ask for a better price; after searching several places Pier 1 Imports gave me the best deal. I recommend this place to anyone with a high performance vehicle in or out of the state. |

I have no idea of how much this should cost. I'm sure the dealer would have charged a lot more but this still seemed pricey. I've never done any mechanic work and wouldn't trust myself to do any anyway, so is this a reasonable price? Brakes at this place come with Lifetime Warranty. |

I bought Hawk performance brake pads for around $100 both front and back from Amazon. Got centric rotors front and back for 150 online as well. I could have saved on pads if would have bought OEM but they dust too much.
Paid labor of $50 for each front and back for a total of $100 and done in $350.
My friend went to dealer for same brake service and paid $1500. Dealerships are not called stealerships for no reason. Never step in there other than free warranty work or for recall. |

I went out and bought 2 ton jack stands (2) and a 2 ton hydraulic lift, 2 front rotors, Duralast CMAX pads, 5 quarts of max life oil, an oil filter, an oil pan, 4 chucks, and oil filter wrench for under 200. I got 30 bucks back when I upgraded from Duralast gold to the Duralast CMAX both of which were/are under lifetime warranty. Changed my brakes and did an oil change in under 2 hours |

If you go to napa you can get rotors for 40 bucks a pop. Get pads for about the same price depending on the quality. Take the tire off and you can undo the bolt take off ur calliper and everything pops off. Put the new one back on and re-assemble brand new frot brakes.....idiot proof. |

I took my car to one of those cheap service centers. I had my brake pads replaced and he cut my rotors. 5K miles later, i started feeling extreme vibration on my steering wheel, i took it to the same mechanic he said that he needs to replace the rotors. I don't know why he didn't do that back then. I took my car to Mini Dealer today, they said since brake pads are not installed correctly it damaged the new pads, destroyed my rotors and couple more things. So total came to $1210. |

Went into the shop looking to replace the two front brakes. After an inspection, I was informed that all four brakes and rotors were spent and had to be replaced. The mechanic took me into the shop and showed me the parts off the car for me to inspect and I agreed to his conclusion. |

My mother had metal on metal on her front brake rotor. I decided to do the work for her, having done a couple brake jobs in the past. The car has ABS, but that doesn't make it any harder than non-ABS brake systems. I replaced the pads, rotors, and calipers, and bled the brake lines. For the front two wheels the parts cost was $250, judging by these prices people are posting I figure I saved her about $350 for a few hours of work. |
